As the U.S. fights two wars, the military wants more recruits -- unless they are gay. "Ask Not" is a compelling documentary that reveals the human toll of those impacted by the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) law.

As the documentary illustrates, the human cost of DADT has been profound. Just look at one of the most recent casualties of the law: Lt. Col. Victor Fehrenbach, the F-15E aviator who has served 18 distinguished years and is about to lose his pension and his career.
